The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a member of the multidisciplinary team, who is directly involved in providing quality care for patients. The BHT is responsible for facilitating meetings and providing structure, guidance and support for patients during daily and weekend activities. The position is physically demanding requires extensive amounts of walking and standing. BHT's must be able to remain on their feet throughout the shift.
The Mental Health Counselor is responsible for coordinating and providing case management, group therapy and biopsychosocial assessment services to patients as well as group, individual and family counseling for patients within the facility. He/she demonstrates expertise in case management, development of patient resources, vocational counseling, discharge/continuing care planning, and placement of patients. He/she works with the treatment team to plan and coordinate the patient's movement through the continuum of care.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing assessments and coordinating ongoing nursing care under the supervision of the attending physician.
