  • Overview

    The Watershed Addiction Treatment Center is currently seeking to fill the position for Community Outreach Liaison who will develop relationships with addiction professionals and related businesses. The Community Outreach Liaison will work directly with these professionals to provide awareness of the programs and services offered at The Watershed while promoting the reputation as a leader in the addiction treatment field.


    • Develop relationships with addiction professionals and related businesses, such as behavioral health centers, outpatient therapists, attorneys, primary care doctors, mental health care providers, addiction treatment organizations, and similar substance use disorder providers
    • Maintain and enhance the reputation of The Watershed by providing awareness of the high-quality treatment programs and services available
    • Handle high volume outbound calls to addiction professionals and related businesses to promote awareness of The Watershed’s addiction treatment programs and services while cultivating relationships that yield new admissions to The Watershed
    • Manage the relationships with professionals and check on any prospective referent needs
    • Accurately represent The Watershed to addiction professionals, businesses and community officials
    • Thoroughly explain the continuum of care offered at The Watershed to help uphold and enhance the good reputation of the treatment facility and programs
    • Adhere to company policy guidelines about the Community Outreach Liaison position
    • Work with Admissions and Internet Marketing Department to confirm properly executed business relationships and brand awareness


    • Deep understanding and empathy towards people suffering from the diseased of alcoholism and drug addiction
    • Understanding of addiction treatment field, treatment center types and current trends within the treatment, recovery and insurance industry.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and focused on completing tasks efficiently
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and other CRM Software’s like ACT, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
    • Able to work well under deadlines and thrive under pressure
    • Comfortable speaking over the phone, and enjoy making high volume of (minimum of 75) telephone “cold calls” that yield relationships via telephone, email and social site prospecting
    • Knowledge of addiction, addiction treatment modalities and procedures as well as an understanding of the 12 steps, sober living & issues surrounding the recovery community


    The Watershed is Joint Commission accredited and fully licensed by the State of Florida.
