Medical Records Clerk

US-FL-Boynton Beach


We are currently seeking a Medical Records Clerk to work in the Medical Records Department at our Boynton Beach, FL treatment facility. The Medical Records Assistant is responsible for maintaining, organizing and auditing the patient medical records.


  • Audit medical records for completion and accuracy
  • Ensure all forms in the medical record are completed and signed, following up with employees if signatures or information is needed
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or to obtain additional information
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of medical records
  • Communicate pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or families
  • File items in patient medical records, such as test results, medical record notes, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patients at all times


  • A minimum of one years experience in medical records!
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and records management
  • Attention to detail is a MUST
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Associate's Degree preferred


Starting Salary: $11.25/hr



The Watershed is Joint Commission accredited and fully licensed by the State of Florida.
