  • Overview

    The Watershed is currently seeking part time Paramedics to assist with the admission of patients to our Boynton Beach substance abuse programs. The Paramedic works closely with the Admissions Department and our patients to obtain necessary paperwork, medical screening and documentation, as well as assuring a smooth transition into treatment. The Paramedic also responds to emergency medical situations within the facility.


    • Completes the initial intake demographic assessment process
    • Performs approved Waived Testing (urine dip stick and pregnancy testing), EKG's and phlebotomy services
    • Maintains contents of a “Jump Bag”, containing medications and equipment for use in emergency situations
    • Responds to emergency medical situations throughout the facility
    • Employs basic cardiac life support procedures until EMS arrives at the facility and takes over the responsibility for the care of the patient
    • Utilizes Life Pack 12 devices for cardiac monitoring purposes and Automated External Defibrillator (AED), when necessary


    • Licensed as a Paramedic in the state of Florida
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in the emergency medical or healthcare field

    * Schedules vary. Must be available to work some Midnight-6am shifts *


    The Watershed is Joint Commission accredited and fully licensed by the State of Florida.
